A catalytic event for a multiplying movement.

The Multiply Summit is gathering those exploring a call to church leadership, those currently pioneering and church planting, and leaders wanting to cultivate a culture of multiplication. We will be gathering to worship as one community, as well as breaking into specific streams tailored to your context.

The Summit will start at 19:00 on Thursday 23rd June and finish at 15:30 on Saturday 25th June. Programme below.

Speakers

Steve Nicholson

We’re excited that Steve Nicholson will be joining us to share his wisdom and experience of leading, planting and pioneering hundreds of Vineyard churches throughout the history of the movement.

Steve founded and led the Evanston Vineyard outside of Chicago up until his retirement in 2020. Evanston Vineyard is one church with three campuses/congregations and over the last 40 years has planted ten other congregations in the Chicago area, and another fifteen in other cities and countries. Steve has served the Vineyard movement for over 40 years training church leaders and church planters around the world.

Daniel Mercado

Daniel is the Senior Pastor of La Viña Gurnee, a bilingual Hispanic church in Illinois. He was born in Mexico City where at the age of 18 he surrendered his life to Jesus Christ. Daniel has been married to Letty Mercado since 1994, they have 3 adult children and 4 grandchildren from his oldest son.

Daniel received spiritual training by attending Old Testament and Hermeneutics courses at Moody Bible Institute, he participated in the Baptist Conference’s Second-Generation Leadership Program (Ignite), he took courses in Systematic Theology by the association of iglesias La Viña.

In 2009 he and his family joined the Vineyard, and after working for more than 15 years in youth ministry, they were challenged to plant a bilingual Hispanic church through the Vineyard in the Gurnee area. This is how La Viña Gurnee was founded along with 6 other people in November 2013.
