VCUKI exists to participate in the advancement of the Kingdom of God through the work of local Vineyard churches that communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and practise.

The Role

Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland (VCUKI) has an exciting opportunity for a Training Assistant.  This is a part-time position, office based and reporting to the Director of Training.  We are looking for someone who is able to work on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with a third day that can be arranged flexibly to best support the needs of the role and the successful candidate.

The candidate would ideally be educated to GCSE level and preferably experienced in office and administration work. They should have a working knowledge of church office life and the vision, values and ethos of the UK Vineyard Churches and be able to work within that framework.  

This role will be well suited to someone who is highly organised, administratively minded and support the implementation of leadership development for VCUKI. 

The candidate would ideally be proficient in using MS Office or Google Workspace and have a working knowledge of basic design principles and programs. The candidate will be competent in calendar and email management and have a track record of working on multiple projects simultaneously.

Croydon Vineyard Production Lead

Hours: 8 hours a week (including 4 on Sunday mornings)
Annual Salary: £38k pro-rata (0.2FTE)
Contract: 11 months fixed term contract. Aug-Jun.

With the acquisition of No3 Old Palace Road, we want to employ an experienced sound engineer and Production Lead who can:

1. Oversee contractors setting up sound and visuals for the auditorium ensuring the
outcomes are high quality, on budget and on time.

2. On a weekly basis help us hit a higher level of production in our worship services,
making them highly appealing to the younger demographic of central Croydon

3. Oversee the technology required for weekly live translation of our Central site
services into multiple languages

4. To help us set up, use and maximise a media room enabling a levelling up of our
videography and audio content for website, podcasts, socials and Sunday video
notices and testimonies.

5. Help recruit and then train and coach volunteer tech teams for our other sites

Head of Fundraising

Location: Remote with the expectation to be in the VCUKI Cardiff office 2 days a month

Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 per annum based on experience

The Organisation
This new role will be equally divided between Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland and Vineyard Global. Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland (VCUKI) is a growing movement of churches, built on God’s transforming word, who worship God with passion, intimacy and expectation. We exist to participate in the advancement of the Kingdom of God through the work of local Vineyard churches that communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and practise. The Vineyard movement is growing worldwide, with churches now established in countries on six continents. Increasingly, the Vineyard churches within a country are coming together to form national Associations of Vineyard Churches (AVCs), each led by its own national leadership. Vineyard Global exists to bring together and strengthen those AVCs, and is itself an association. Through its Council, its Leaders, Leadership Team and Trustees, it also provides guidance and support to the Vineyard movement as it emerges, thrives and grows across the world.

The Role

Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland (VCUKI) and Vineyard Global are looking for a dedicated Head of Fundraising to join our team and help us expand our impact through effective fundraising initiatives. This is a remote position for someone based in the UK, with the expectation to work at a VCUKI office two days a month. The role is full-time and reports to the VCUKI National Coordinator. This is a new position that offers an exciting opportunity to grow, develop, and shape the fundraising strategy for our national movement. The Head of Fundraising will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy aimed at securing donations from major donors, trusts, foundations, and corporations. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Vineyard Churches UK and Ireland as well as Vineyard Global. They will work with movement leaders and Vineyard staff to maximise fundraising opportunities and establish long-term relationships with donors. The candidate should be a starter finisher as this is a new area of development for both VCUKI and Vineyard Global, and over time, it is anticipated that the post-holder will build a team to assist with key aspects of the role. We are looking for a graduate with a proven track record in fundraising within the nonprofit sector, especially someone who has successfully secured large donations and grants. If you’re a self-motivated individual who thrives on networking and possesses the ability to influence and persuade a variety of stakeholders, we want to hear from you! Job outline: Small Steps is a valued community project run by Hope Vineyard Oxford from a shopping centre that is in the heart of the East-Oxford community. We are looking for the right person with a passion for supporting local families, and a heart to share Jesus in practical and creative ways to lead this project.

The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership for Small Steps, overseeing its vision, sustainable growth, fundraising, partnerships, operations, finances, and impact reporting. There is a Small Steps Coordinator who is already employed, and helps run Small Steps and leads a growing team of volunteers. The Small Steps Lead will manage current staff and also volunteers, and develop relationships with schools, health providers, businesses, and community organisations.

The Small Steps Lead will be responsible for fostering a culture that honours Jesus, and values every person as made in God’s image, which is why this post falls within the definition of an Occupational Requirement as per the Equality Act 2010. An Enhanced DBS check is required for appointment.

Compassion Support Manager

As an anti-poverty charity Vineyard Compassion are employing a new staff member to be our Compassion Support Manager & Safeguarding Lead.

The Compassion Support Manager (& Safeguarding Lead) will carry responsibility for the vision, leadership, delivery and development of the Open Door project and wider Compassion Support Services (person centred support). They will lead, develop, and manage staff and service delivery to offer practical help and emotional support to vulnerable individuals and families in the community who are experiencing a range of complex needs. They will also carry responsibility as the VC Safeguarding Lead, both functioning as a Designated Safeguarding Officer and overseeing the other DSO’s.
