We want “church” to be a people and a place that children love. We have a long history of high-quality children’s ministry. Ministering to families is a core part of our DNA and purpose (although we have a wide spread of ages and family situations).
Our vision for children’s ministry is primarily the care and discipleship of children on Sunday mornings but with an increased attention to building bridges into our community – through various ministries for children (some already established, some just getting going and some still in our dreams!). We also want to see Vineyard Kids integrate children from a more diverse cultural and ethnic background.
With that in mind we are seeking to employ a Pastoral Assistant with experience, gifting and passion for: seeing children welcomed into the church and flourish in the development of their faith and ministry; teaching and equipping children to follow Jesus.
All initial applications must be received by 28 February 2021.
