Job role:
Over the past year God has been growing the number of young adults at Verso. They want to honour what God is doing in this season and continue to serve young adults effectively as they pursue an undivided heart for Jesus. This new role will give greater capacity for Verso Vineyard Church to create spaces and places that are full of vibrant caring relationships, where young adults from any background can discover Jesus and be transformed into his likeness whilst being equipped for leadership through local and national networks.

As an anti-poverty charity Vineyard Compassion are employing a new staff member to look after their busy reception area, providing the first point of contact for anyone who calls in person, emails or messages via social media.
This role requires a welcoming and personable approach to ensure that all queries are dealt with. This will include using appropriate soft skills to listen well and understand the situation and decide on the best course of action in providing initial help or support through signposting to the appropriate staff member or external agency. Due to the range of projects and services delivered, a varied range of contacts and enquires are received, so having a flexible approach and being able to handle change is important in this exciting and diverse role. The role also involves a high level of administrative support. This person(s) will be required to represent Vineyard Compassion’s Christian ethos throughout all his/her activities by applying a Christian mind and attitude to the role and to spiritually support the work of Compassion through Christian prayer and fellowship.

Riverside Vineyard are looking for a highly organised team player to join their staff team, serving a growing multi-generational, multi-ethnic and multi-site church. In this role, you will provide ministry support for the Pastoral team. This will include supporting the on-going ministries such as Small Groups and Alpha, preparing for and managing events, as well as managing their internal room bookings. You will also provide a vital link between the Pastoral and Administrative teams.
This role may also include some adhoc IT administrative support eg setting up new user accounts, basic troubleshooting.

They are seeking a compassionate, gifted individual with a high degree of emotional intelligence and an entrepreneurial spirit to manage this joint venture with momentum and longevity. They are seeking a gifted manager with a proven track record of working with a diverse client base, especially those in extreme poverty.
