About:

The Lighthouse is a small and growing church family that have been gathering in South Bristol since 2018. We are part of the Bristol Vineyard Churches which includes Field Vineyard and Severn Vineyard. Mid-week: we gather on Thursday evenings from 8pm in people’s homes to pray, worship and explore the Bible. A time to connect with each other and with God in a deeper way. Sundays: we gather for our bring-and-share community meals most Sundays in the Totterdown Methodist Church Hall (access on Winton Lane) at 1130. The focus is on gathering as a family around the table and sharing a meal together in an informal way. We also share communion with some worship and a short talk. Children are very welcome and there are various activities on offer for them. You can sign up to bring food and see what others are bringing via this link. Kids’ Church: we run fun, exciting after-school kids’ church on Mondays from 4.00 - 5.30 with games, food, stories and music. Currently this doesn’t run every week, all year round, but tends to be a series of meetings leading up to Christmas and Easter. Please get in touch to find out more or if you’d like to be involved!
