About:

We are a diverse group of ordinary people on a big adventure. We’re learning what it means to practice living like Jesus did, and help people from all walks of life, find home and share the hope of Jesus. Hope Vineyard began in a living room in the Autumn of 2017 when a few people gathered to worship God and dream about what a new church and charity in Oxford, and the surrounding area, might look like. We’re continuing to figure this out and we’re excited for all God has in store. On Sundays we gather to worship God, to be in and enjoy his presence together. There is a time of sung worship, a talk from the Bible and the opportunity to pray for each other. Refreshments are served after our services and there are groups for children and young people (Hope Kids, for 4-11 year olds, happens during every service and Hope Youth, school years 7+ meet twice a month). There is a parent/carer supervised play area for preschool aged children in the main hall during all of our services. Once a month we host Sunday Breakfast. We gather around the table, enjoy time together and reflect on a theme. We gather in Life Groups to journey with Jesus mid-week, host weekly prayer gatherings, gather to worship Jesus on the streets twice a month and host a monthly prayer and worship night. We are passionate about becoming people of love who bless our local area and we run various one off community events in our local shopping centre and regular projects, including 'Small Steps', a children's clothing and equipment resource. Whatever your story, your background, your experience of faith and church you are welcome at Hope Vineyard. We look forward to meeting you.
