Head of Fundraising

Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland

Location: Remote with the expectation to be in the VCUKI Cardiff office 2 days a month

Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 per annum based on experience

The Organisation
This new role will be equally divided between Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland and Vineyard Global. Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland (VCUKI) is a growing movement of churches, built on God’s transforming word, who worship God with passion, intimacy and expectation. We exist to participate in the advancement of the Kingdom of God through the work of local Vineyard churches that communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and practise. The Vineyard movement is growing worldwide, with churches now established in countries on six continents. Increasingly, the Vineyard churches within a country are coming together to form national Associations of Vineyard Churches (AVCs), each led by its own national leadership. Vineyard Global exists to bring together and strengthen those AVCs, and is itself an association. Through its Council, its Leaders, Leadership Team and Trustees, it also provides guidance and support to the Vineyard movement as it emerges, thrives and grows across the world.

The Role

Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland (VCUKI) and Vineyard Global are looking for a dedicated Head of Fundraising to join our team and help us expand our impact through effective fundraising initiatives. This is a remote position for someone based in the UK, with the expectation to work at a VCUKI office two days a month. The role is full-time and reports to the VCUKI National Coordinator. This is a new position that offers an exciting opportunity to grow, develop, and shape the fundraising strategy for our national movement. The Head of Fundraising will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy aimed at securing donations from major donors, trusts, foundations, and corporations. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Vineyard Churches UK and Ireland as well as Vineyard Global. They will work with movement leaders and Vineyard staff to maximise fundraising opportunities and establish long-term relationships with donors. The candidate should be a starter finisher as this is a new area of development for both VCUKI and Vineyard Global, and over time, it is anticipated that the post-holder will build a team to assist with key aspects of the role. We are looking for a graduate with a proven track record in fundraising within the nonprofit sector, especially someone who has successfully secured large donations and grants. Occupational Requirement

Small Steps Project Lead

Hope Vineyard Oxford

Part-time: Either 22.5 hours per week term-time only (0.6 WTE = 3 days p/w)

or 18.75 hours per week (0.5 Whole Time Equivalent = 2.5 days p/w)

Location: Small Steps – Hope Oxford, Templars Square Shopping Centre, Oxford, OX4 3UZ

Salary: £31845 to £34216 depending on experience (pro rata for part-time salary)

Job outline: Small Steps is a valued community project run by Hope Vineyard Oxford from a shopping centre that is in the heart of the East-Oxford community. We are looking for the right person with a passion for supporting local families, and a heart to share Jesus in practical and creative ways to lead this project.

The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership for Small Steps, overseeing its vision, sustainable growth, fundraising, partnerships, operations, finances, and impact reporting. There is a Small Steps Coordinator who is already employed, and helps run Small Steps and leads a growing team of volunteers. The Small Steps Lead will manage current staff and also volunteers, and develop relationships with schools, health providers, businesses, and community organisations.

The Small Steps Lead will be responsible for fostering a culture that honours Jesus, and values every person as made in God’s image, which is why this post falls within the definition of an Occupational Requirement as per the Equality Act 2010. An Enhanced DBS check is required for appointment.

Role Purpose
The Café & Food Bank Manager will lead The Well as a welcoming, Christ-centred
community space. The role ensures effective day-to-day operations, builds a strong volunteer
team, and ensures that the Well fulfils its purpose of being a bridge from the Church into the
community.

Occupational Requirement
This role carries a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9 of the Equalities Act

Riverside Vineyard Church is a multi-cultural, multi-generational, multi-site church
community, based to the west of London. Welcoming people to weekend services
and throughout the week is a high priority to us and we want our church centre
facilities to extend this welcome to our communities.

We’re looking for an organised passionate person to lead our facilities team and
manage the building facilities. You’ll take a proactive lead on H&S and compliance,
providing advice to the trustees, senior staff leaders, church staff and volunteer
teams, ensuring that our church centre is a safe & welcoming place for everyone.
Working alongside the Facilities Assistant andAdministration team you will help
identify and implement sustainable processes to facilitate the day to day Church
Centre management. You would ideally be NEBOSH trained.

Compassion Centre Coordinator (Maternity Cover – Up to 12 months)

Working alongside the Compassion Centre Team, we are looking for someone with
strong organisational and planning skills to support the provision of food, children’s
clothing, and essential equipment to those in need.

Community Pastor

SW London Vineyard

Job Role

SW London Vineyard (SWLV) is seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to lead the church’s mission to serve and connect with the surrounding community. At the heart of this role is overseeing the work of The Yard – a community hub that demonstrates the love of Christ through practical, kingdom-focused service. You will develop and manage outreach ministries across the local area, including programmes such as Foodbank, Job Club and Exploring Faith.

Growkids Project Coordinator

Gateway Vineyard is a multi-site church currently in Norwich and Beccles; extending Gods Kingdom together, everywhere and in every way. We want to love God, love people and bring life.

We are looking to appoint a permanent Growkids Project Co-ordinator to our staff team to support the growth and development of Growkids and Gateway compassion in more locations. Mobilising, training volunteers and building team are key parts of the role, as well as representing Gateway compassion ministries in the wider community.

With experience of leadership, the post holder will need to be organised, with excellent communication and people skills. Experience and knowledge of Growkids is essential as well as working with families or within compassion ministries.

The post holder will need to demonstrate commitment to the vision and values of Gateway Vineyard which can be found on the church website.
This post is 15 hours a week. Funded initially for 12 months, with the possibility of extension.

Youth Ministry Lead

We are looking to appoint a youth ministry lead to support the development of youth ministry across our locations.

With experience of leadership, the post holder will need to be organised, with excellent communication and people skills. With experience of working with young people, ideally in a church context, the ability to mobilise, train volunteers and build team will be essential.

This is an exciting season for Gateway Vineyard and the postholder will need to demonstrate commitment to the vision and values of Gateway Vineyard, as well as a clear sense of calling to this ministry.

This post is 10 hours a week and includes 2 Friday nights a month, some Sunday mornings and DTI camp in the Summer.

Head of Campus (North)

Vineyard Leadership College (North Campus at Hull Vineyard)

The Organisation

Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland (VCUKI) is a growing movement of churches built on God’s transforming word, who worship God with passion, intimacy, and expectation. VCUKI exists to participate in the advancement of the Kingdom of God through the work of local Vineyard churches that communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and practise.

The VCUKI Leadership College is a church-based, multi-campus, multi-disciplinary training programme for leaders within the movement. Students will apply from across the Vineyard movements to be part of the Leadership College and will take part in training both locally and at national training colleges based around the country.  

The Role

VCUKI has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Campus at their Leadership College North Campus. This role will work in collaboration with the National Director of Training to oversee the facilitation of the VCUKI Leadership College within their campus area. The Head of Campus will be the driver for the college within each campus. The individual in this role will need to be able to support curriculum development and work with the Leadership College Team to create a thriving learning environment for emerging leaders within the movement. This is a part-time, fixed term position based at the North Campus and reporting to the National Director of Training. 

This role will be well suited to someone who is highly organised, motivated and can operationally support the delivery of the vision to see others step into their call and gifting through the organisation and administration of the Leadership College.  The candidate would ideally be a graduate, have a background in education and an understanding of a range of teaching theories and practices. The candidate will have a track record of multiplying in leadership and be experienced in facilitating meetings and leading ministry times. 

The candidate should be available to start in July however if possible we would love to start integrating them in June.
