Following on from its release earlier this year on the House Of The Lord EP, Vineyard Worship are delighted to release a fresh recording of the song’ Swing Wide’, recorded live at Dreaming The Impossible (DTI), a summer festival for 4,500 young people from churches everywhere.

This song was written by Jon Solway, Langa Mbonambi & Inez Tjokro, at a global songwriters gathering and their desire was to write a joyful, welcoming song that would work in local churches.

They said “We focussed on the theme of welcoming Jesus into our gatherings and our lives, inspired both by Psalm 24 and the triumphal entry that we celebrate at Palm Sunday (Matthew 21) - the joy and expectation that they must have felt as Jesus rode into Jerusalem, the joy we can experience as Jesus continues to ‘enter in’ to our world, and the expectation we have when Jesus will come again.”

Recorded in the vibrant environment of DTI this summer, this song is jam-packed with energy, joy and hope and really captures the hunger and passion that the emerging generations have for Jesus.
