Written by Dan & Beth Goodwright, Jon Solway and Cindy Abu, ‘I Follow Jesus (Disciple)’ is a confident 3-minute powerhouse of a song, filled with energy, passion and holy defiance.
Based on the theme of discipleship to Jesus and centred around his words in Luke 9:23-24, the song is a firm commitment to follow him, in any circumstance and situation.
Taking musical inspiration from Harry Styles, SEU Worship and Coldplay, ‘I Follow Jesus (Disciple)’ was recorded live at Dreaming the Impossible 2026, with the aim of encouraging and empowering young people from any background to surrender their lives wholeheartedly to Jesus - holding nothing back, whatever the cost.
