For those God is calling to leadership and ministry within the Vineyard Movement.
The Call is a space for those who feel God is calling them to leadership within the Vineyard, to explore who God has made you to be, what he has made you to do and what’s next in answering the call he has put on your life.
Whether you want to be trained to plant a church, lead a ministry area, press into succession plans or simply continue exploring God’s call on your life, this is for you.
We will be joined by David & Nicola Bass and Ben and Sian-Lee Ewan – two couples who have both planted and now lead churches in our movement.
David & Nicola Bass
19 years ago David and Nichola moved cities with a toddler and one other couple to plant Life Vineyard Church. God called and gave them a clear vision for what he wanted to do in the glorious North East of England! They are passionate about Holy Spirit ministering inside and outside the church; love seeing teams emerge to bless and serve others, love to see the lost come home and find life to the full. Their church is a diverse multisite church currently with two sites and they have also planted two Vineyard Churches out into South Shields and Darlington. Nicola oversees the VCUKI coaching teams and loves to sniff out gifts and strengths and encourage people to step forwards; whilst David is a prophetic dreamer who loves to pioneer and make changes that are practical expressions of the Kingdom Of God in our region and sometimes beyond. They also both do some supply teaching in special schools.
Ben and Sian-Lee Ewan
Ben and Sian-Lee planted Foyle Vineyard Church 11 years ago in Derry-Londonderry, a city on the border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Their journey has been one of learning to share the good news of the Kingdom in a complex and contested context, building community among people from diverse and often divided backgrounds.
They split their time between leading the church, raising their three children, and serving their city. Sian-Lee works full-time as a Doctor in Ulster University School of Medicine, and Ben divides his time between the church and work in the youth and community sector. Together, they are passionate about seeing disciples and leaders equipped to live out the way of Jesus in every part of life and culture.
