The Call is a space for those who feel God is calling them to leadership within the Vineyard, to explore who God has made you to be, what he has made you to do and what’s next in answering the call he has put on your life.

Whether you want to be trained to plant a church, lead a ministry area, press into succession plans or simply continue exploring God’s call on your life, this is for you.

On this call, we’re excited to hear from Jason Whiley, Paul Daniels and Andrea Howard as they share from their own journeys of discernment around church planting and succession.

Jason Whiley along with his wife, planted and led West Wilts Vineyard Church for two decades before guiding the church through a successful leadership transition. With a strong passion for spiritual formation, he is now a trained spiritual director with Sustainable Faith (in conjunction with VCUKI), working with men from the UK & Ireland (as well as across the globe) and also spends his time overseeing a growing number of mens outdoor retreats. He is a husband, a father to two young adult children, a semi-professional musician, songwriter, footballer, gym goer, avid film watcher, Systema ‘instructor in training’, walker and passionate advocate for the great outdoors!

Paul Daniels is the lead Pastor of Carrickfergus Vineyard in Northern Ireland. Together with his wife, Chantel they planted the church in 2010.  He is originally from Hertfordshire where he helped start Soul Survivor way back in 1993.  Paul is deeply passionate about seeing the healing power of the Gospel transform lives in NI. He spends half his working week in school (where the church meets) as a PE teacher.  He loves spreading his time between the two vocations and has loved being a part of a natural church/school relationship. They have 3 grown up children all very much involved in Vineyard Church life somewhere in the world.  In his spare time, he loves running – especially in the mountains.

Andrea Howard is lead Pastor of Antrim Coast Vineyard Church in Northern Ireland. Planted in Larne from Carrickfergus Vineyard in 2018, she leads alongside her husband Andy and a small but faithful team. Andrea is a bi-vocational Pastor and has worked as a Midwife for 20 years. She champions women to pursue freedom through healing and to find their purpose – through relationship with Jesus. Andrea is passionate about the local Church serving and bringing life to communities, and believes this is part of God’s mission for Antrim Coast Vineyard. Our vision is to see every Heart, Home and Headland along the beautiful Antrim Coast transformed by Jesus. One of Andrea’s greatest joys in life is loving people by sharing food & conversation round the table, so you will often find her where the tacos and margaritas are!
