About:

In summer of 2009 we moved to Bristol to set up Severn Vineyard, after serving as Associate Pastors with Trent Vineyard, Nottingham since 2001. In the first 12 months a crowd of 40 people (mainly in their 20s and 30s) came together to establish this church. We have grown to nearer 80 by Autumn 2011 and continue to see young professionals, students and families join with us in seeking to serve and influence Bristol spiritually, socially and culturally.

There are many fantastic churches in Bristol and each has it's own flavour and texture, so you might find it helpful to get along to one of our weekly Sunday mornings gatherings (10.15am - 12) at the Bristol Grammar School, University Road, Bristol, Bristol, BS8 1SR.

You should get a sense of the purpose and ethos of this new church just by joining in, but to help you with this you can pick up a cd copy of our purpose and ethos talks at a Sunday meeting (also available on podcast).

If you have kids, you'll be concerned to find a church that suits them. We know this because we have three kids ourselves and this term we have started to gather all the children together for their own church which runs alongside the adult gathering. Our teenagers are also starting to do church together this term as well as being part of the adult meetings.

Soon after you visit we'd love to have you over to our home for one of our newcomer's dinner parties.
