Job role:
Sutton Vineyard are recruiting a Community Pastor to provide leadership & administrative oversight of all aspects of their community ministries and to further develop Sutton Vineyard as a compassionate worshipping community that makes a difference in the borough.
Details:
• Hours of work: 32 hours per week 0.8 FTE. 4 hours to be worked on a Sunday morning, with the remaining hours split, as agreed, across Monday-Friday. The successful candidate will be expected to have at least two full days off a week.
• Occasional evening/weekend team meetings and leader’s meetings will be required (in lieu of some midweek hours).
• Reporting to: Senior Pastor
• Principle Workplace: Stayton House, 93 Stayton Road, Sutton, Surrey, SM1 2PS
• Pay: £27,955.20 per annum (FTE £34,944) plus pension
• Contract Period: This is an initial 1-year contract with a 6-month probationary period. There is the potential that this role may be extended or converted to a permanent role in the future, subject to funding.
• Start Date: September 2024, depending on the availability of the successful candidate.

Job role:
Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland (VCUKI) has an exciting opportunity for a Communications Assistant to work with our Communications Team. The role will be required to help assist the communications team through the upkeep and growth of our digital platforms and key administrative tasks, which contribute to communicating strongly and consistently to the Vineyard movement.
This is a part time maternity cover position, with the role based in Cardiff.
This role will be well suited to someone who has a good command of the English language and is interested in communicating on a range of digital platforms.
The candidate would ideally have a working knowledge of a variety of methods and platforms to share stories on. The candidate will be competent in organising logistics for media pieces and be well organised with a key eye for detail.
Occupational Requirement
As this role will require the successful applicant to promote the Christian values of the Vineyard church movement and provide individuals with Christian pastoral support, it is an Occupational Requirement that the successful candidate is a practicing Christian, who regularly attends Sunday church services and can agree with the VCUKI Statement of Faith and Ethos Statement.
