Vineyard Christmas album released

Are you bored of Buble? Sick of Slade? Do you love Christmas carols but hate hearing the same versions trotted out year after year? This album could be the perfect one for you this Christmas.
10 Classic Christmas Carols given a stunning makeover for the 21st century and released by Vineyard Records UK.
This album is the work of a group of friends from Network Vineyard Church in Reading. A group of mates and musicians in their 20s who play together in church every Sunday, they took on the challenge of reworking Christmas classics in a way that makes them sound fresh and exciting, whilst respecting the beauty of the originals.
The album Christmas from the Vineyard: Classic Carols – Fresh Sound was produced by two Reading indie alumni (Tom Bellamy – Cooper Temple Clause and Jon Courtney – Pure Reason Revolution) and takes musical cues from bands like Coldplay, Snow Patrol and Sigur Ros. It is available now on iTunes, Amazon and in Christian bookshops across the UK and US.
There will be a one-off performance of the album at Greyfriars Church, Reading on Saturday December 3rd – doors at 7pm. The event is free to everyone and will certainly get you feeling festive.
