About The Cause to Live For

The Cause to Live For 2011 was a Vineyard Churches national event for Students, 20s and 30s, held at Trent Vineyard in Nottingham

The vision of The Cause to Live For network is...

To Inspire

We want to inspire our generation to take their rightful place to be so much more than just consumers. We long for them to have reckless, dangerous faith that causes ripples in the communities in which they live and work.

To equip

Throughout our Christian lives we find people who are further along the journey. They are ministering or doing what we feel God has called us to do. Or maybe they have a spiritual gift that we long to develop. We want to learn from and be inspired by these people to operate in the fullness of the Spirit’s power.

To propel

There is something about the word propel that implies we aren’t 100% in control, that we are propelled out by God and are learning to follow his leading. We want God to stir and propel people to start new churches, communities and ministries.

Ministry of the Kingdom

We want people to ask “what is the father doing?”and then follow where he is moving. We want people to follow Jesus’ example by preaching good news to the poor, proclaiming freedom for the prisoners, recovery of sight for the blind and releasing the oppressed. (Luke 4)
