Why we loved John Stott

John Stott was “promoted to glory” on 27th July 2011. And his death seems to us the occasion to consider his remarkable contribution to the work of the gospel of Christ and the wellbeing of the church worldwide.

John Mumford has said: "You won't fully understand the Vineyard unless you understand John Stott."  Indeed John Wimber admired him deeply; studied his books meticulously; and when they met was almost tongue-tied and certainly slightly over-awed.

Why Vineyard

This following article may help answer the question for you "Why Vineyard?"

When asked the question "Why Vineyard?" we want to be quick to say that it is not because we think the Vineyard is better than any other church or Movement.  To sum it up we could say the Vineyard is unique, solid, and foucussed on the Kingdom of God. There is much else that some would want to say.  Written by Don Williams
