The Vineyard Churches Children’s Task Force aims to help with developing healthy children’s ministry in local churches and communities across UK & Ireland.
The Vineyard Churches Children’s Task Force aims to help with developing healthy children’s ministry in local churches and communities across UK & Ireland. It attempts to do this by building relationships among children’s leaders, sharing good practice and signposting great resources. There are representatives from Vineyard Churches in each region of UK & Irelend who aim to get to know other children’s leaders in their area and facilitate opportunities for encouragement, sharing experiences and learning from one another. The team are currently involved in four main activities:-
Building Relationships: Since starting in May 08, many of the team have developed connections with other churches in their region which have led to a number of responses including personal support and encouragement, sharing of vision and resources and training events – both specific to one church and wider regionally.
Resources: The team have collaborated on these resources which includes practical advice and ideas as well as information about commercially available resources and how different people have used them. This is an ideal forum for anyone starting out in children’s ministry and covers the questions that many of us have been repeatedly asked over the years.
Free Curriculum: Members of the task force have been developing specific UK curriculum materials aimed at reflecting vineyard values for anyone to use. These can be found here.
Children's Leaders Retreat: The team host an annual National Children's Leaders Retreat. Details of each retreat will be available on this website.
